Architects, Lighting Specification Engineers and Lighting Designers need lighting fixtures with design originality and innovation, combined with function. Those competitive edges are found in our line of Architectural Downlighting, Track, Exterior, Interior and Specialty lighting. While standard fixtures drive our business, customization is what separates our corporation from other lighting manufacturers. Color, finish, size, lamps and lens choices are nearly infinite; limited only to the lighting designer's imagination. FC's in-house engineering staff regularly consults with architects, lighting designers and engineers about new innovative solutions to their specific lighting needs. Laser cut personalized corporate logos, custom colors and shapes are all possible through our metal cutting CNC (computer numeric control) turret punch, CNC break press, metal spinning and painting processes. Laser Cutting To achieve the ultimate in quality control, we use fully-automated computer-controlled machinery to produce our fixture components. Whether it's stainless steel, brass, aluminum, steel or other metals of varying thickness, our fixtures begin as a CAD drawing and are then produced by CAM equipment at our laser cutting and fabrication division. Computer controllers and .003 diameter laser beam produce a strict .001 tolerance. An infinite number of customized designs are available through the metal department's new CNC turret punch and CNC brakes. Painting All lighting components are ion phosphate dipped and powder coated by hand before the assembly process in our facility. This painstaking process produces a durable long-lasting product that is protected from rust and discoloration. Metal Spinning To produce a stable, consistent reflector for each fixture, we use a heavy gauge aluminum and process it with Alzak®, the industry's most popular reflective surface finish. The metal spinning shop is overseen by AutoCad-14 programming engineers, using a computer-controlled circle shear, automated punch press or robotic spinning mandrels to cut and form reflectors to our exact specs. Track & Specialty Lighting These fixtures combine the energy efficiency of low voltage with sleek contemporary styling. Available in a wide range of styles and options, makes them ideal to service the retail, store fixturing and exhibit markets. Downlighting fixtures Our specification grade Architectural Downlight Series are available in line voltage, low voltage, H.I.D. or fluorescent. The recessed frames are constructed of heavy gauge galvanized steel with adjustable mounting wings. The reflectors are precision spun from high quality aluminum with an Alzak® or vacuum metalized aluminum finish. Our recessed line is available in vertical or horizontal configurations with a wide choice of sizes, colors and trim options. Ask about our renowned QuickShip Program. Exterior & Interior fixtures Standard and custom light fixture manufacturing combined with a quality control policy is a rarity in any industry, but that's FC Lighting's mission. Instead of relying on overseas labor, fixture assembly is completed and closely supervised at our domestic headquarters.
