Doing Our Part to Make a Difference
FC Lighting strongly believes in sustainability. “When ever possible, we eliminate adding waste to our environment by recycling materials used in the manufacturing process, as well as recycling office materials.” voices Mike Zimmer, GM at FC Lighting. We continue this tradition by building quality fixtures that will use, endure, and promote energy efficient lighting systems to help preserve our environment. This is proven even in our operations. In 2007 our manufacturing facility was relocated to
St. Charles, Illinois, a city that provides electricity generated by 100% wind power. This prevents 117,000 pounds of carbon dioxide, a leading greenhouse gas, from entering the atmosphere each year — equal to the CO2 reduction provided by 45 acres of forest storing carbon for one year.

In our manufacturing facility we use non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, brass, and copper. All scrap from these metals, as well as acrylic, cardboard, paper, plastic, and aluminum cans are recycled.
FC Lighting, Inc. is committed to doing our part in reducing the environmental impact on our planet.
