Both 8″ Round and Square step lights can be surface mounted directly to a standard 4" octagonal j-box. The hooded housing features a die-cast aluminum construction and faceplate for IP65 exterior or interior applications. Its unique design has an optional direct conduit mount. The housing is marine grade, corrosion resistant, high pressure die cast aluminum with (2) 7/8″ knockouts on the back mounting plate. The hooded design offers a new elegance for your next Step Light project. Each step light has the perfect cutoff ratio, maximizing light while eliminating glare. They're ADA compliant with a 1.375" low profile, wall presence. It's the right solution for many step light applications that require balancing design and functionality.
